The forest spoke, and I listened.

This past weekend I was called to the forest and I slept on the ground tucked away in the Ozark mountains.

I foraged a few mushrooms. I heard the Elk playing. I tucked myself away in the privacy of the pine trees. I collected firewood. I made a fire from what the forest provided. The intense heat of the fire I made put my daughter to sleep in my arms and saw stars that I forgot existed.

I marveled at the gentle grace of the trees letting go of their leaves and humbly begged for clarity on bridging her grace to my own life. I learned to smell the difference between the perfume of maple and oak leaves dancing by me.

Today, I’m bringing some of the forest tempo and wisdom back to you today. She says,

“Loosen your grip on what you cannot control and lift your eyes to see the diversity of support around you. See how we all work together here? Each being helps one another not only grow but thrive simply by staying focused on what is natural to them. There is no such thing as a small act of sovereignty.”

And as much as I’d like to hold on to her wisdom and carry only those words in my heart and mind today, I come back to St. Louis and I immediately and viscerally feel the powerlessness and hopelessness hanging on to the tired, ancient beautiful souls of our collective consciousness this week.

There is a lingering sense of hopelessness today that was avoidable to me only by driving hours away from my home to sleep in the middle of nowhere. I’ve watched awake women and intelligent men lose their shit over the irritating and heavy energy swirling around. It is a very difficult time right now. We all know that.

However, today I summon more grace and balance - which I have learned is literally the force of Nature - to come into my life now. I invite you to do the same.

2017 will be the year of building community. 2016 has shown us what is unacceptable to us and we will start to creatively think about how we can live our day-to-day lives with more intention around what feels good. I believe we will start to see we can’t continue to do this alone and it feels better, more productive, to work together in ways we have not seen before.

If you are interested in doing that kind of deep dive into imagination and the life changing power that comes with that - you are welcome to explore the Mystery School I have created. We have nearly a dozen women from around the world ready to take control of their contribution to our collective consciousness in the name of Sovereignty and Sophia.  You can read more about that here

All of my love, Katie
